I purchased this camera to use to capture memories and it does just that. I love all the different settings and effects you can use and it has a lot of great features! Such as auto focus, flash, slow motion, camera timer and even video! I look forward to using this camera more around the holidays. It’s a functional camera, not too bulky, has good battery life. I have only needed to charge a few times since using. The lens cover and neck strap are also a huge bonus when traveling! Captures sound on video and doesn’t sound grainy like some other brands. I am very pleased with this purchase!

I was so excited to get the new Sony A74 after switching from a Canon, only to be extremely disappointed with the quality right out of the box. First and foremost, this thing DOES OVERHEAT! JUST BY VIEWING THE MENU! Within 10 mins actually, IT'S WINTER HERE. MY ROOM IS AN ICE BOX. I DON'T KNOW WHAT SOME YOUTUBER'S ARE SMOKING, BUT THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! Anyway, I fixed that issue, by going to set up/power setting option/autopower off temp/High. Now at least it wouldn't turn off just by viewing the menu...Pictures looked fine but when I switched to 4K manual video recording I was getting really odd banding with different colors. Seems like a sensor issue, or maybe SD card but I doubt the latter. Please take a look on my pictures. I've literally invested thousands of dollars, switched lenses.. Only to get this turd of a camera. Planning to return it very soon. Not sure if I'll ever trust another Sony product again.

I bought this camera because I needed one for a job I recently got. I couldn't afford one of the more professional grade cameras, but the reviews on this one were decent so I decided to give it a try. The camera is super simple to use, it takes amazing photos and videos, and it comes with a memory card, which is amazing in itself. If you need an affordable camera that performance well, this camera is a great choice.

I got this camera to take pics and videos of products for my small business. It came with all the items as advertised. So far, the quality is great. I prefer to use the manual focus instead of auto as I get a better result that way. The WIFI function is also plus so I can transfer media easily to my phone for social media posts. I love the case as well.

Size is the same as popular slr cameras like cannon and Nikon .it's a bit lighter .no changeable lenses to worry about. But in flash with ability to add different flash on top .good touch display .it takes a littel bit to get familiar. Works well with android. And full control over wifi.android app needs a little work it is quite basic .standard camera mounts work well.for the price it's more for your money.
