    I've been using this thing daily as an industrial electrician. Great sound and I love how light it is. I had this up on a 100ft material silo. I was loading up the man-lift that I was using to take my tools down. It was stupid of me to do, but I just willie nillie tossed the radio on a tool bag. It bounced and rolled out of the lift and it went straight down 100ft as a screamed NOOOOOOOOOOOO! I went down to retrieve it, was so heart broken when I saw how it had smashed. But get this. IT STILL WORKS!!!!!!! I will always look to Dewalt first before any other brand.

    For the cost of this speaker, it's versatility, it's mobility, and it's overall value, it's a great purchase. The only reason I gave it one less star is because it has a very prominent "chirp" for anything that has increased bass to it. I use Spotify equalizers to increase bass for my typical music playback, but even with bass reduction the speaker will still chirp at louder volumes. Still a great value speaker, I just wish it handled bass a little better.

    I ordered this Dewalt BT speaker to a replace a BT speaker that went belly-up after the non-replaceable internal battery failed. My reasons for choosing the Dewalt BT speaker above all others was that it runs off the same 12v and 20v batteries that runs their awesome line of power tools. Given that I have already invested heavily in both the 12v and 20v lines and have over a dozen such batteries, this was a no-brainer. In addition to this, the Dewalt BT speaker is very robust and appears to be very durable. Yet, it is still relatively small but not tiny. Sound quality is also awesome given it's small stature. Setup was also a breeze and required no instruction. I highly recommend this product.

    I love my portable Bluetooth Speaker from DeWalt. Exactly what I was looking for. I saw this product a couple of years ago on Amazon, but I was reluctant to purchase it because of several reviews that I had read. I kept looking, but every other product was too expensive or had equally bad reviews. The other day I was shopping on amazon and saw this unit on sale - so I got it. I love it! Well built, feels solid, sounds great. I have some DeWalt tools already, so the battery was not an issue. I highly reccomend this unit. I don't know why there were so many negative reviews - I think it sounds great - and it was obvious that the battery does not come with it. Keep up the good work!
