It's my first drone and I have no regrets. This drone is exceptional for a beginner or advanced user. Basically flies itself lol. Battery life is nothing like advertised, be aware and the props get damaged with ease, any small crash or even hitting a finger and it could break. The charging hub does not charge more than one battery at a time no matter how strong the charger.... They should make it so you could charge at least 2 at a time. For now I can charge one in the hub and one in the drone so that's an idea

But what about the DJI Mini 3, you say? Well the Mini 2 is about half the price, and still includes most of the important features. Above all else, this model now uses Ocusync, which allows for much better signal in the air and around objects.

The DJI Mini 2 is a high quality drone that is well worth the price tag. Would definitely want a great camera drone, but experience is recommended because of the moderate price tag

Its good. I haven't tried the high wind tests yet but that alert comes up like every time I use it. It's not the fastest drone either. I've had many drones bow though and eventually you don't use it. It'll just sit there for months. Thats if youre a normal person. Then you just keep looking at $1.2k sitting there every day. Depreciating in value by every new drone release. So I'm ok with this one. If I could I'd return it and buy the new fpv drone. Or buy the 3rd. This does the job but you'd be surprised how much you need at least a front facing object detection. Once I flew my air 2 over a river and it randomly stopped.Even though I could see the fly area/drone, I didn't see a long power cable going across the river hundreds of feet up. If the drone didn't stop, it would be in a river.

I purchased the DJI Mini 2 because I used one that had already been set up and found it easy to use even for a beginner drone operator. Its performance and photography were excellent for its modest price.

The quality of the camera and gimbal makes this a great beginner drone. I use it for my film classes and it's quite amazing. I returned a similar size drone that didn't have quite the same quality. It's pricey but worth it. It doesn't have safety sensors, handle with care.

The Drone I got worked great for a few flights then something happened to the gimbal where I could not get it to calibrate right and it would go crooked after I flew it. But after I exchanged it for a new one I have had no problems with the drone. The range is good and the video quality is great. I would say it takes good color-accurate photos of landscapes. The battery life is substandard. The most I have gotten is 25 minutes on a windless day. The controller lasts a while. One thing to be careful about is the program drains your phone battery quickly. I have an iPhone 13 and I lose 10%-15% during a 20 minute flight session. The controller does have built-in phone charging. But for me that keeps the battery where it's at or just slows down how fast your phone dies. I would recommend this drone to anyone who wants to get into drone flying at a reasonable price point. Auto track would be nice though

But this says a beginner drone to get into aerial photography and honestly, this drone has blown me away. As a storm chaser, I needed a drone that could handle some wind and remote locations. Not sure what this drone is rated for, but I’ve definitely handled winds between 20 and 30 miles an hour. It does drain the battery a bit quicker, but I cannot complain.

This drone is ideal for Hobbyists and casuals getting into drones for fun. This is not great for professional photographers or videographers(Also keep in mind the FAA license).

Also, just buy the fly more package. I have spent way more in accessories than I would have if I bought the fly more package.
