I couldn’t believe what this vacuum picked up after 1 pass on a rug that gets cleaned every week. My other vacuum is rated in the top 5 in Consumer Reports, it’s the Amazons pick, and cost 100.00 more. My housekeeper kept saying “buy a Bissell upright. I finally gave in and boy was she right!!!

I shopped around, read reviews and decided to stay with my tried and true brand, Bissell. Straight out of the box it's solid and I put it together in less than 5 minutes. I immediately took it on a test drive.Loves: The edge cleaner really works. I've never had that happen on other models but I'm loving it.Cord rewind is a must for me and this meets my expectations.We have an American Bulldog with hair like pine needles that stick in the carpet. Nothing sweeps it up like this.Huge canister and long cord. What's not to love?Not too loud and really picks up.Really disappointed: No headlight. I was spoiled with my older sweepers and I didn't even think to look for that when comparing. My fault but, really. Shouldn't all sweepers have headlights?Overall I do recommend this sweeper. The price is fair, not too fancy, simple, easy to use and empty and does what it says it will do.
