Good nailer, only used it for a while, so can’t tell about reliability. Longer nails, 3.5” tend to give a bit of recoil and don’t go in that well, but there is difference between Senco and Paslode nails too, Paslode have less recoil. Shorter nails have no issuesI am using this with European 18V XR batteries, they are equivalent of US 20V MAX, so no issues there.Nailer is a bit heavier than pneumatic, but it’s also slightly smaller, so it fits better in tight places. And in dusty places, it doesn’t blow all dust to your face...

DEWALT 20V MAX* XR Framing Nailer. Never used one of these before this one. It is a bit heavy at around 10lbs with nails and battery. Used this for a diy project. Built a frame and rough opening for a large French door with side windows. It does have a small learning curve, but once you dial it in you will be “toe” nailing at 30 degrees in no time. Wood was all fresh wood so relatively soft. Older hard wood was harder to nail and during testing would not go in all the way. Most of the time I was too deep with the nails in the softer wood. I just backed off the dial and it would not go in as far. It was great. Bit pricey but as with most tools, you do get what you pay for. Looked at non Dewalt nailers but came back to this one. Not a contractor. Just a diy’er fixing the house.
