I LOVE this tire inflator! Our old pancake style one was hard for me to lug around and use. I always had to wait for my husband to do it. Now I can help get our RV road ready for our trips. It is light weight and so easy to use. Doesn’t take up much space either. It shuts itself off when it reaches the set pressure which makes it safer too. Don’t forget to order the battery and charger, since it doesn’t come with them. We got the 20V/5A battery. After putting air in 4 tires, the battery was still showing a full charge. It’s a great value when you look at the price of some other small inflators. I’m so glad I made this purchase!

My daughters car had a low tire and a friend of mine up from a fishing trip a month ago and had one of these but different brand. He aired up her tire no problem. So I decided to buy one.Bought Dewalt because the 20V battery is compatible with all my other Dewalts; hammer drill, jig saw, reciprocating saw, sander, (all bought on Amazon) even my Dewalt law mow though the batteries are 10amp and a bit larger, they still work.Dallas hit freezing yesterday and my tires went to 26 psi. Pulled out the Dewalt air pump for the first time and it was simple and AWESOME not having to go to the store!1) insert battery2) turn on air pump2) screw end of tube into tire value; no adapter needed3) spin dual to recommended pressure (show on end of driver side door in all cars)4) press start buttonIt shows the air pressure as it inflates the tire and auto shuts off. Ran this in my garage at home with garage door down and it’s not loud at all; much quieter than my friend’s other brand. In the end, the battery didn’t get off 3 stars. Started to purchase the 120v cord but glad I didn’t! No need with a battery. If you don’t want the portability (not sure why you would not in case you get stranded and need to use it) then you might purchase the 120v cord. Batteries cost more but are all you need.Bought a case for it on Amazon too which hold the air pump, manual, 2 batteries (you only need 1 for a typical car, unless you want a backup in case one becomes defective). Look at my other reviews on Amazon to find the case I bought. It stores in the back of my SUV conveniently.
