I built this shed over 3 days total, this included a gravel base and a lumber base frame. I followed the written instructions but also made extensive use of the video. I found it critical to making the assembly process clear. One difficulty in assembly came when fitting the roof panels to the trusses and the front gable to the doors. I had to use a couple of ratchet straps around the trusses to align the screw holes on the panels to get them to line up. Another problem was some of the tabs on the bottom of the wall pieces are too wide for the slots in the floor. I had to widen the slots with a razor knife to get them to " snap in properly. The third and most difficult issue was the front gable alignment to the roof trusses. I had to use multiple straps to pull pieces into alignment. Without using these straps, I could not have got it to fit. It did turn out looking nice but you definitely need assistance of another person during assembly. 4 out of 5 based on the issues listed ablove.

This is my second Lifetime Outdoor Shed and once again I am so happy with my purchase. Hired a crew to build a wood base and hired the same crew to build the shed. It was helpful to have the experience of building a shed in the past because I was able to recall some of the challenges we encountered. The Lifetime YouTube video is wonderful and the crew used it to confirm several steps. I’m so happy with this purchase and it looks beautiful in my backyard.

Come on!!! Clearly there has to be a better way to describe how to put this together. It's ridiculous. Watched the video and used the manual and still had trouble. I would never buy another one.

I bought this to help eliminate paying for a storage unit. The one thing I do suggest when putting this shed together is watch the video. Much easier to put together using the video versus the instruction manual that it came with.

    4. The shed-material absorbs heat from the sun. Here in California, it gets very very hot inside! OMG. If you need a cool interior, forget it. But if you can locate a heat-exchanger in your shed, it will seriously heat water. I guess it would be a perfect shed in a cold environment.

This came in three boxes and instructions were clear how to assemble it

This shed went together much easier than I expected. All the parts were there and fit. However I don’t think I could properly put this together without both the printed instructions as well as the video. One without the other would be a challenge. Also the parts are in all three boxes in no particular order so all boxes have to be searched to find the next part needed.

Ok...that's the great news. There are two things I think need improvement. First is the instruction point where you place the floor panels down. After a careful recheck I can see that they do point out the issue with the picture BUT I feel a "call out" note would be much better. The four middle floor panels are identical. The third panel in from the outside left side needs to be "flipped" 180 degrees so the hole for the door is in the correct spot. If it isn't then you may literally need to tear down the walls in order to swap it around. The second item is the floor itself. Although it is fairly strong and even a little cushiony, it lacks the strength I think it should have. While assembling the roof panels we dropped a rubber mallet and it dented the floor which made me wonder what will happen when I drive my tractor on it. Other than this I absolutely LOVE this shed!!

Arrived earlier than predicted. All parts were in the boxes. Don't lose any of the screws or washers, not many, if any extras. Built a raised plywood platform and started the installation. With some help with the floor, walls and initial roof panels, it went together without issue. Had a couple of screws that stripped but I used zip ties in the holes, then re-screwed them in. Finished it up alone with no problem. Doors work great with no shimming required. Roof has no leaks, however water will invade under the floor, and onto the floor around the wall floor joint. Installed an interior 2x4 frame interior, then caulked around the inside and outside. Good you tube video showing how that is done. Includes putting extra screws through wall into the interior 2x4 for extra strength. No rain yet but sprinkler system and hose test shows all good. If you don't intend to store anything on the floor then it may not be an issue for you. Lots of you tube videos on installation and tips. Well worth checking them out before you build. OK had some very hard rains and still dry. All good. (September Update) Hurricane Harvey Update: Although not in the path of Harvey in Katy, Tx, we had 39 inches of hard rain. My area did not flood. No rain leaks in building. All good. Changed to 5 stars because of this.
