Complicated Assembly The shed was a good price and it is useful for what we need. The cons to this shed is that it was so complicated to put together. We ended up removing pieces and redoing what we just did 3 times because we didn’t have it right. Also, many people are needed to hold pieces in place, screw the item into one side and hold the nut on the other side, while making sure the opposite side doesn’t blow over in the wind. Yes, it’s that much fun and bonding time! You will get cut on the rough metal edges, make sure you have bandaids. Other than that, great shed if you can get your doors lined up just right!

For the price, I couldn't ask for more... I read some of the other reviews here, and I'm super shocked. We all went shopping for an inexpensive shed. Of course it isn't expensive thick metal. If I expected more, I would have spent more and so should you.For what we spent, I'm very happy. We got the 10 x 8 which is 10 feet across the front and 8 feet down the sides, so it's wider than it is long. The instructions were pretty great. A few spots could have used a bit more detail, but my husband and I were able to figure it out.The material is thinner metal and it scratches easily, but it does come covered in plastic, so it wasn't scratched when we received it. Some of it was a little dented. But again, it's thin so easily manipulated and returned mostly to shape. The couple dents were certainly not a deal breaker. The plastic washers, vents, and caps killed me. I think that's the one area where they should not have gone cheap, because it, unfortunately, makes it look a little cheaper overall. The doors roll ok but are a little stiff and could be better. I think they should add rollers to the bottom. We got one with the floor frame and added plywood over it. The frame is sitting on several concrete pavers because our yard is uneven, and it feels sturdy after installing the plywood. It hasn't rained since we put it up, so I'm not sure about waterproof. I'll update if there's a problem. Otherwise assume it's fine. I would just caulk the whole thing if it were up to me but the husband doesn't want to.We added a lock, but... If someone wanted to get in this, they would have no trouble. They could probably just kick the door in. Lol So it's not a secure solution, but it is a place to store your tools and keep them dry (I assume).Overall, it's worth the money if you're looking for a small building to store things. But temper your expectations, and match them to the amount of money you're spending.

It took me about 8 hours to assemble the shed working alone at a fairly leisurely pace. I do have mechanical experience and work in a construction related field. Part of that time was also spent doing a repair, see below. Having a power drill helps to screw things in faster and instructions were pretty clear for the most part, but did have to use some deductive reasoning and common sense here and there. A few times I had to remove some screws as I didn't realize other pieces were supposed to share bolt holes. Try to avoid doing this as much as possible because they are self tapping screws and will lose the ability to "bite" if screwed in and out too much because the holes get wider.I did have to repair one section as I assembled it over two days and did everything but the roof the first day. I should have gone another few steps as the next steps were the A panel roof sections that hold the cross beam above the doors tight. It was a little windy, enough to bend the front panels - this in turn bent and kinked the cross beam section and bracket (the metal piece above the sliding doors is two separate pieces attached with a thin piece of stamped steel and a few self tapping screws). I disassembled the area and ended up welding the crossbeam together and reassembled. This made it substantially stronger anyways so I don't mind. But if you decide to build it in sections over multiple days, for your own sake - go as far as the roof beam once all the walls are up. It would take another 15 minutes and save you the hassle of bending the door beam.I also had to drill out one single hole for the wall lower attachment at the center of the rear wall of the shed. Not a big deal, just used a small drillbit and one of the self tapping screws. I think the hole "was there" but the bracket holding the two lower sections together was covering it.I water tested it and found two major leak points:First is the floor, it leaks under the perimeter metal trims along the ground. I may end up ca

Hardest part of putting the shed up was leveling my ground. Once I got that done it took me and my grandson slightly over 3 hours to construct and I am not that experienced in that type of project. I do have to say I believe my shed was repackaged since some of the holes that needed to be punched out in the floor already were and, although it did not impact assembly or quality, I would have sent it back had it caused problems. Luckily it did not. However, I would recommend it.

I absolutely love my new outdoor shed! I went with Rubbermaid because I heard the quality was good, and I wanted something easy to assemble. It took my husband a couple hours to assemble, but maybe because there was a lot of reading on the directions. but It takes two people to put the roof together. It's sturdy and good quality! I would recommend getting the 5x4 if you want to just keep a lawn mower and larger garden tools in it, but we still have a lot of extra room left in it if we need to store more. (It also good with weather resistance). Would definitely recommend this one!

This is a sturdy outdooor storage shed that is the perfect size for my needs. From the looks of it, after it was put together it will also keep vermin out. It also looks good in my yard.

I love this shed but it came with a few minor missing parts such as the door handles and three wall connectors. I attempted to reach Rubbermaid the first evening after I assembled it but a recording said they closed at 5pm. I called back the next day twice and got a recording saying "we are attending a department meeting call back later. Hopefully I will finally get through to Rubbermaid. I still recommend this product to anyone. It turned out that this shed is much taller than I first thought. You can easily stand up inside without bending over, which is great.

I was, initially, quite happy with this. It was easy to put together (if a tad fiddly) and seemed reasonably durable. Sadly, after a few short months in the South Florida sun it's very warped (almost melted) and the doors won't stay closed and have even fallen off a few times. I knew I was going to get less of a shed than had I built one myself but I expected more than a few years, not less than one. If you live in a sun-baked area like I do you might want to consider something else (unless you plan to put it in the shade maybe).

Very reasonable to put together. It is a modular build design. Ships with extra screws so if you drop and lose some you are ok. It is really a two person job. With a battery powered driver, a 1/8” drill bit and a magnetic Phillips screw bit, a manual Phillips screw driver and a mallet the job went from box to shed in 90 minutes. Take it easy when tightening the screws. Remember that you are screwing into plastic.

The delivery set up wasn’t great. I was to pick a date and time to be delivered. I did that based on when when my daughter told me someone would be home. However, the delivery was changed by the company or Amazon. I got a notice that it was coming earlier by a few days. I called to complain that I had set it up based on days I had to choose from. This caused a problem with their work. Customer service nicely said too bad. We just told you to pick date and time and confirmed but were just kidding. We do what suits us.
